## 1. Download the Dotb Safari App

Dotb for Safari ships as a macOS app that installs the Safari extension.

## 2. Install the App

1. Open the downloaded **`.dmg`** file.
2. Drag the **Dotb** app into your **Applications** folder.
3. Open the **Dotb** app once from Applications. macOS may ask you to confirm opening an app downloaded from the internet — click **Open**.

## 3. Enable the Extension in Safari

1. Open **Safari** and go to **Safari > Settings** (or press `⌘ ,`).
2. Open the **Extensions** tab.
3. Tick the checkbox next to **Dotb** to enable it.
4. If prompted, allow Dotb to access the websites it needs (Vinted and Dotb).

## 4. Log In to Vinted and Dotb

1. Go to your country's Vinted website, for example: [vinted.co.uk](https://www.vinted.co.uk).
2. Log in to your Vinted account.
3. Log in to Dotb using your email and password. Don't have an account? [Register here](/users/register?ref=safari-guide).
4. You're now ready to use Dotb on Safari!

## 5. Update Dotb

Unlike Chrome, the Safari version doesn't update automatically. To get the latest version:

1. [Download the latest Dotb for Safari (.dmg)](https://dotb-storage.s3.eu-central-003.backblazeb2.com/safari/Dotb.dmg).
2. Open the downloaded **`.dmg`** file.
3. Drag the **Dotb** app into your **Applications** folder, replacing the existing one when macOS asks.
4. Open the **Dotb** app once from Applications, then quit and reopen Safari.

### Common Issues

**The Dotb extension doesn't appear in Safari Settings.**
Make sure you opened the Dotb app at least once from your Applications folder, then quit and reopen Safari.

**The Dotb extension doesn't appear on the Vinted website.**
In **Safari > Settings > Extensions**, click **Dotb** and make sure it has permission to access the Vinted website.
