🪄 AI Background Removal

The AI Background Removal tool automatically removes the background from your product photos, leaving a clean transparent image. This is especially useful for reposting with a different background.

Requires the Boutique AI plan.

Models

Two AI models are available for background removal:

Start with the Standard model. If the results don’t look right for your type of photos, switch to Premium for better accuracy.

Where to Find It

Background removal is available from the photo editor on the Dotb dashboard (not in the extension):

• New item form — when creating a listing from the Dotb form
• Saved items — when editing an existing item from your item list
